"As a vegan, I was excited that there was a resteraunt I could go to. I went one time and my friend was working. I wanted to double check that the food I was ordering was actually prepared in a vegan safe way and she informed that the tofu was all cooked next to/with meat. No thank you! Im sure the food is great for someone else. "

Bland, bland, bland
"I have eaten here 4 times and always conclude the same - bland, bland, bland - absolutely no flavor to the dishes, which is shocking considering the chef won "Oregon Top Chef" twice in a row. I commented to the waitress on my latest bland dish (my husbands was also bland and cold) and was informed that "Most of our customers are older and don't like spicy food, so thats why we serve our condiments on the side (chili oil, Sriracha, peanuts and lime), so you can flavor it yourself. "

My major issue is that food doesn't need to be "spicy" to have flavor, lovely, intricate flavors should be developed in the cooking process - that's what I'm paying for. This food has no flavor at all and is totally dependent on the condiments and a ton of salt and pepper to liven it up. Just not good food.

Additionally, the wine glasses are thick with a "rolled rim", unsuitable for even a cheap glass of wine (which is all that is available).

I give this restaurant a 2 because it is health conscious and caters to vegetarians/vegans. "

The best breakfast I've EVER had.
Pros: Exciting dishes, beautiful patio area, affordable prices
Cons: Slow service
"My husband & I went to Dragonfly this past weekend for breakfast. We sat out on the patio & enjoyed the ambiance. Every order that was carried past us smelled and looked so delicious and it made us anxious to get our food. My husband had been there once before & insisted on us getting their Coconut French Toast. As we usually do, we each picked out a dish & then we decided on a 3rd together. I was not excited about the french toast at all ~ I've never liked it even as a kid but I was totally hooked after my first bite!! The dish consisted of two large pieces of freshly made coconut bread encrusted in toasted coconut & served with slices of fresh fruit and a raspberry syrup. I think I ate more of it than he did! I ordered a plate that was one of the specials ~ the Carnitas Hash. It was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh but I felt that the carnitas was slightly underseasoned & bland. The hash had lots of potatos, black beans, salsa and a chipotle sour cream for that extra kick. For our 3rd dish we decided on the Dragonfly Potatos. These were really good too! They were pretty similar to the hash minus the carnitas. The portions are hearty but not too large that you're leaving a lot of waste. The service was a bit slow, but our waitress was very friendly. We also ordered a few mimosas with our meal ~ they were perfect but a bit too pricey at $7.50 each. Most of the menu items ranged from $8-$10. We will definitely be back there again to try some of the other menu items we were eying and for the Coconut French Toast! "
