Amazing Food!!

"I took my fiance out to dinner here. We were both pleased with the service and the food portions. Also the price is very reasonable. I would defiantly recommend this restaurant to anyone. If your looking for a date night or a fun night with the family this place is perfect! "

New favorite

"We went for my husband birthday there were 8 of us in all. 3 very picky eaters. The food was great. The service was wonderful. The portions are big. No one could eat all their meal so we took it home. Our eldest daughter and her husband said this is their new favorite resturant. This was our first time. The lasagna was very tasty. The pesto tortellini was so creamy. The pizzas were great and the fettuccine was spiced just right for my daughter. Thanks for making our celebration so special."

"my family and i eat at rosarios often, the food and service is always outstanding. the owners are great hands on workers. they always come to the table to make sure everything is good. what a great family restaurant. "

Patio is nice, but food is sporadic

Pros: Patio allows little ones space to play while adults relax, pizzas are pretty good

Cons: Have had more bad food than good.

"Ordered minestrone soup once, tasted like the server just opened a can and forgot to microwave it before bringing it to the table.

Have to give more than one star because there are items on the menu that we do like. We were hopeful that this would be a better restaurant, but have been disappointed too many times to continue to go back.

We would expect more from a restaurant that has such rave reviews. "

could be SO much more

"I find that Rosarios is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is flavorless, lacking the rich, deep flavors of the Italian food I grew up with. Where's the garlic, the fresh basil, and please tell me WHY would they serve that hideous "bread". It's reminds me of hot dog rolls. Light and bland...and where's the oliove oil at the table? Should be standard. Although the service is always excellent, and I love sitting outside in the summer, I really think that Rosarios could use a few fundamental improvements. Fesh flowerson the table? Remove the tacky fat chef border inside on the walls? "

a big let down

Pros: when you first walk in its nice , but....

"When we first walked in we liked the atmosphere. The typical restraunt greeting occurred nothing fancy! We ordered and then it happened. Our food looked like it had been microwaved. My son oredered raviollis, my other half ordered the seafood las. and I oredered the clam dish. My dish was okay, and my other halfs was so rich it was beyond eating. As for my sons there were five yes five cold hard cheese raviollis. I was amazed by the change in attitude when we mentioned to the waitress our liking to the food. Then there was a male well dressed who just ignored our looks. I will not take the time to go there again, regardless what others have experienced. My motto :When there is a bad seed present (food + service) don't patronize it again go elsewhere. "

Rosario's is consistently great!

"This is our family's favorite restaurant. The food is consistently good, the staff is friendly and efficient and the prices are modest for the quality and quantity. We love the patio for dining outdoors during the warm months. During cold months it's a pleasure to walk into such a warm, cozy, welcoming restaurant. Mike, Laura and their staff have created a local restaurant with the individuality and charm we enjoy. "

Great Prices, Wonderful Food

"My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time last night and the waitress was very helpful and informative about the menu and the food she recommended to us was wonderful, (scampi pomerolla & Chicken parmesan). Also the food was very reasonbly priced. Definately going back."

Great Restaurant

"I have been eating at Rosario's for years and continue to love the food and the staff is wonderful. Rosario's has one of the nicest and most comfortable patio seating area's in the Valley also. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has not already been there."

Waitstaff rude when owners not around

"1-2 of the waitresses very rude, plopping down plates with a thud, no refills unless asked 2-3 times, no thank you, on and on.

Wonder if the construction is having an effect on the attitudes of mgmnt. and staff. Sigh.

There are other choices around the region."

"I'm sorry but people say this place is the best italian around. Are you kidding me, either their taste buds are dead or they have never left Medford. This place is equal to Pizza Hut Italian. I will never eat there again. "

not like it used to be

"my wife and i used to eat there all the time but haven't had the money recently we missed the food and had a few extra dollars this month and decided to treat ourselves unfortunately it was a let down and waste of money. we always get the same thing chicken fettucini and a calzone. sauces used to be flavorful now are bland marinara used to have a herb flaver now taste like tomato sauce straight from the can. i ordered extra bread for take out at the time of pickup the girl took my money handed me the food and didn't even put the extra bread in the bag had to ask the guy making pizza for it ... wish i hadn't i don't know if it was garlic bread or a huge cruton. used to see the owners walking around everynight greeting guests , i suppose once you get a name for your place money comes in whether you care or not to show up"

"I have been eating here for years. The food is always wonderful. Their food is far beter than the imitation lobster meat in the pasta I had at Pomodero's. Everything on the menu is great. Even when the place is full, the food still arrives quickly and is consistent.I love this place!"

Incredible Catering!

"Rosarios catered out daughters wedding of over 200 people last summer in an outdoor ceremony. The food presentation, as well as the service were both incredible, not to mention the price was 1/2 of what we were quoted at other places in our valley! We still have people talking about the food to this day! Rosarios will always be our favorite! They made that wedding day one to remember!"

"I live in Central Point and Rosario's has long been one of my favorite restaurants; but it is especially dear to me because when my grown son comes into town for a visit, he always wants to head there for at least one meal and that has endeared it to me even more. Worth it

Pros: Everything inside the walls

Cons: Everything outside the walls - that parking lot is tight. Has the feel of a hole-in-the-wall SF place, now I think about it.

"Simply put, these people know what they're doing. Only been in twice, but very good each time. Once I came in with something of a bizarre off-menu order (mixing two sauces, and throwing in some extra veggies), and the server and cook completely worked with me and I ended up loving it. It took a while, but eh? Who cares? Talk to your spouse. Enjoy your wine. Take a breath for a half an hour and stop go-go-going. The waitress was alone when I arrived, but she respected me enough not to zip by and slam water down on the table, telling me she'd be right with me and God please don't be angry I'm taking an extra minute. Rather, she remained composed, polite and personable, took care of the folks who arrived before me, and came over directly after. I have to say, her mellow attitude was so refreshing If the owner's around, he'll probably come say hi, which is kinda cool. "

"Fabulous food (I usually get calzone's or pizza although the pasta dishes have been tasty as well) and the service is great. Love the patio! MUCH BETTER THAN VINNY'S - where the owner is RUDE and trash talks his customers."

Just ok

"I ordered the pesto pasta - and, I have to say that I couldn't find a single basil leaf present in that pesto, let alone the flavor of a pine nut. It was creamy pesto too, which, was kind of weird to me. I was expecting olive oil, basil, pine nuts and parm pesto sauce tossed with pasta.

I really like the outdoor patio, though. I've also had a few of the salads there, and I wish they came with more diversity of veggies on them - mine mostly came with romaine lettuce and some dressing-which was a bit disappointing and boring."

"Forget Olive Garden - Stop at Rosario's instead for a date. Parking is not that great, but the food is scrumptious. Prices are reasonable. It's a casual Italian restaurant, a step above a hole-in-the-wall, so you can enjoy a date without emptying your wallet."
