"The Oregon Humanities Council had a reception at The Palace Cafe last evening, and it was a wonderful evening, just perfect. Several cold salads (pesto couscous, penne with goat cheese, vinagrette greens with beets), and the most tender, moist sliced chicken I've ever tasted. And for dessert, panna cotta so sweet and flavorful, just melted in my mouth.
Don't miss this new restaurant in an historic building, the old Manna From Heaven Bakery down on A Street in Ashland, Oregon."
