Peerless Restaurant review

Pros: The food is generally good.

Cons: The service was abominable and management responsibility was totally absent

"We hosted an anniversary dinner for 27 people. The service was abominable. I took over an hour for courses to be served. The host had to 3 times corral the waiter and in one case the owner to demand service. There were small children present who needed to be served before anyone else. They were the very last to be served and only after a demand by the host. The table arrangement was not what had been requested resulting in some guests having thier backs turned to the "head" table. When I protested at the time that the bill was presented, I was told that the owner was not on duty when in fact it had been the owner with whom I had demanded service to the children. When confronted with the facts and results of this fiasco, the owner denied that it ever happened and claimed that the service was satisfactory"

Outstanding in every way

Pros: THE premeire fine-dining establishment in the Rogue Valley

Cons: a little pricey--but worth it!

"This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Rogue Valley. Not cheap, by any means, but the food is unique and delicious, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is refined and romantic without being pretentious. Wonderful wine selection, fresh, original entrees all prepared with care. We can only afford to go there a couple of times a year (anniversary, New Year's Eve), but we always look forward to it and have never been disappointed.
Oh, and it just happens to be the place where my husband proposed to me...:)"
