Great food

Pros: The food, the drinks/bartend

Cons: Cant think of any, drinks may be a bit over priced.

"Honestly this place is not over priced. Take a food costing class and say that again. Iv only ate here once but i was very impressed by how technically produced each dish was. Had lamb shank and it came with a knife, i dont know why they gave me a knife as it went totally unused. I also had the squash and white truffle soup. Only complaint is that it was a bit cold and i had to send it back. They came back with one that was Boiling hot (think i cheesed off the kitchen a bit). Yes you are going to spend 25 to 30 on your main alone, and yes it is going to be worth it (unless your classically trained in French cooking and you think you can do all the menu items at home). "

"We just attended the Winchester Dickens' Christmas Feast and cannot say enough good things about it. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic menu, great service, wonderful performers. This could easily become an annual holiday tradition for us. Bravo Winchester Inn!"

"This is an elegant location for a special night out and I highly recommend it. We had the panko crusted green beans as an appetizer, which, though small, were very good. A palate cleanser, a pineapple sorbet (I think), is served just before your main course. The filet mignon is wonderful, cooked perfectly, and served with grilled broccolini (a little crunchy for my taste), but still good...as well as a serving of horseradish/bacon mashed potatoes. The meal was delicious and well presented. My wife had the grilled salmon, which through her comments, was also very good. We both had the creme brulee for dessert...simply delectable! Quite possibly the best fine dining restaurant in southern Oregon."

"The Winchester Inn is one classy place to eat. In all the times we have eaten their we have yet to receive a bad meal. The staff is friendly and informative. The bar area is great for a before meal cocktail. Over all you get great value for the money."
